Mark, the founder and CEO of CardiaSpace, is a highly accomplished, multi-board-certified cardiologist with extensive expertise in advanced cardiac imaging and medical informatics. His transformative vision revolves around revolutionizing the delivery of advanced cardiac diagnostics, addressing the nationwide challenge of limited access to these critical examinations and its profound impact on patients’ lives. Mark’s dedicated efforts aim to align CardiaSpace with the global initiative to combat heart disease, the leading cause of mortality worldwide.
Under Mark‘s visionary leadership, CardiaSpace is experiencing rapid growth, positioning itself as a trusted partner for healthcare facilities nationwide. In addition to his pivotal role at CardiaSpace, Mark serves as an adjunct associate professor of Medicine and Radiology at the University of Utah, actively engaged in teaching advanced cardiac imaging and co-leading efforts to operate and expand the advanced cardiac imaging program.
Before founding CardiaSpace, Mark held a full-time faculty position at the University of Utah, where he served as the co-director of the advanced cardiac imaging program, overseeing clinical operations, protocol development, and quality assurance processes. Mark‘s scholarly contributions encompass numerous scientific papers in the field of cardiac imaging, published in reputable journals. He has also been an invited speaker at both regional and national scientific meetings, where he shared his experiences and emphasized his profound commitment to bridging technology, science, and humanity.
Jessica is a highly accomplished Cardiothoracic Radiologist with specialized fellowship training and level-III certification in cardiovascular CT and MRI. Jessica serves as the Chief Radiology Officer at CardiaSpace. Concurrently, Jessica serves as a Staff Radiologist at the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, where she takes pride in addressing the healthcare needs of veterans.
Prior to her roles at CardiaSpace and the VA Medical Center, Jessica served as the Co-Director of the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Program at the University of Utah. In this capacity, she collaborated seamlessly with professionals across two departments, contributing significantly to the program’s exponential growth and enhancing quality metrics.
Jessica maintains adjunct faculty appointments with the Department of Radiology and the Department of Internal Medicine/Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Utah where she teaches cardiothoracic radiology. Additionally, she has distinguished herself as an accomplished researcher and co-investigator, actively participating in ongoing NIH-funded R01 and R21 grants. Her research endeavors focus on leveraging her expertise in CT cardiac imaging to investigate cardiovascular disease risk in women with endometriosis, as well as pioneering innovative CT cardiac technologies.
In her role as Chief Radiology Officer at CardiaSpace, Jessica brings a wealth of advanced Cardiothoracic imaging knowledge, extending beyond the heart. Her unwavering commitment to precision and innovation ensures the delivery of high-quality radiology services, making a significant contribution to the organization’s strategic vision and success in the dynamic field of healthcare.
Dr. George Lolay is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in advanced cardiovascular imaging. He holds level-III board certifications in adult echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT.
With extensive expertise in multi-modality cardiac imaging, Dr. Lolay serves as the Associate Director of Advanced Cardiac Imaging and the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and the Structural Heart Program at Franciscan Health Alliance in Indianapolis, IN. He also directs the nuclear cardiology program at CardiaSpace.
